🏆 Your best sets

🏅 Score = how hard your best star is × how lucky you got (the average cost of that star ÷ what you spent, square-rooted). Spending keeps counting after your best, so knowing when to stop and 💾 save is the strategy. Everything is simulated on your own device and kept only in this browser: nothing is sent anywhere.

Rates, costs and stats are MapleStory Idle's (from mapleidle.gg). From 20★ an item can be destroyed 💥: it falls back to 12★ with its effects off, and you restore it at 12★–20★ (higher costs more), just like the game. Two modes: 🔥 Start at 20★ (every item begins at 20★, straight into the scary part) or 🌱 Start at 0★; each keeps its own set and its own best results. You enhance a set of 8 items (switch with the item buttons). Press 💾 Save results to score your set and keep it in Your best sets: all 8 items then start again (🆕 New game also starts again, without saving). The score rewards high stars, but also luck and knowing when to stop: it compares what each item really cost with what that star costs on average. From 12★ each star has its own Enhancement Points gauge (fail +1, drop +2, boom +4, kept on that star even if you drop); when it's full the next try at that star can't fail. Mitigation (as in the game's Sept 3 patch notes, only from 20★ where the risks start): destruction mitigation halves the destroy chance, decrease mitigation removes the drop chance (halves it at 28★+); each costs one extra full set of scrolls and mesos (both = ×3). Scrolls here are unlimited, and every try is rolled on your own device.
